Questions
Will this make me pass?
We do not know, and anyone who tells you otherwise is guessing. We have no pass-rate data and we will not print one. What we can tell you is exactly what is in each file, where every fact came from, and when it was last checked. A deck is one input into an exam, not the exam.
Do I have to pay for Anki?
Anki is free on desktop and on Android. The iOS app is sold by its own owners and its price is theirs to set, not ours. We do not publish, sell or support Anki, and we are not affiliated with it.
What do I actually get on each tier?
- The Verified Top 300, $24. The base deck alone: 4,334 notes, 4,778 cards, 27 subdecks, plus a Start Here card. The PTCE and NAPLEX add-on subdecks are not in this file.
- The Complete Top 300 System, $117. Seven components, 5,156 notes and 5,802 cards, including the add-on subdecks, the High-Yield 100, the printable reference, the study guide, the coverage map, The Shorthand, and every update inside the edition across all of the materials.
How fast can I get through it?
The decks arrive set to twenty new cards a day, which puts the full Top 300 at about eight months. You can raise that in Anki’s deck options: forty a day is about four months and sixty a day is about eleven weeks. Raising the new-card limit raises the daily review load with it, so pick the pace from your exam date rather than from ambition.
What happens when the 2027 Edition comes out?
Standing Order Co. publishes one edition a year. You own the 2026 Edition, and corrections and additions keep arriving inside it, free, until the 2027 Edition is published. The 2027 Edition is a new release and a separate purchase.
We do not offer lifetime updates. A dated edition is checkable and a rolling promise is not, and a rolling promise quietly becomes a reason never to rebuild the material from source.
What if I find a mistake?
Tell us. If you are right it goes into the corrections log with your correction credited, unless you would rather it were not, and it reaches everyone else from there.
Can I see the material before I buy?
Yes, twice over. The free sample is twelve pages of real cards with the source lines live and no email required. The corrections log is open whether or not you have bought anything, which means you can read our mistakes before you read our work.
Why is there no star rating?
Because we do not have ten real reviews yet, and an invented rating on a page whose whole argument is verification would cost more than it earns. When there are ten real ones, there will be a rating.
What is a suspended card?
A card holding a value that a machine extracted and no person has signed off yet. Those ship suspended, in a clearly labelled preview subdeck, so nothing unreviewed reaches your queue by accident. When a reviewer signs it, it wakes up inside the edition you already own.
What do the chips mean?
A verification chip reads a quarter, such as Verified Q3 2026, because a month stamp reads four months stale by December. An in-review chip means a card is waiting on a named reviewer, and it never carries a verification date. The two never appear together.
