Is it real leather?
It's split leather. Split leather is the sturdy inner layer of the hide, finished smooth on the outside. We name the exact grade because you deserve to know what you're paying for. No vague "premium."
Will it pop open when I sit down?
No. The buckle locks onto the track and only lets go when you lift the release lever. Our manufacturer tests the release for at least 10,000 open-and-close cycles. And if the release ever sticks or breaks in the first year, the Buckle Promise replaces it.
What if I cut it too short?
Use the Fit Finder above, then mark it against a belt you already own and trim a little at a time. If it still doesn't fit you right, the 60-Day Fit Promise covers you, even after trimming.
Will it fit a bigger waist?
The strap fits waists up to 54 inches. Measure where your jeans sit and check the Fit Finder. Bigger than that? Message us before you order and we'll help.
Does it look like a men's ratchet belt?
No. It's a slim, feminine strap with a double-ring buckle in gold or silver, made to wear with jeans, trousers, and dresses.
How do I loosen it after lunch?
Lift the small lever on the buckle and slide the strap out one click. To tighten, just push the strap in. It takes about ten seconds and nobody can tell.
I'm pregnant or just had a baby. Will it keep up?
Yes. Click it looser as you grow and tighter as your body changes after birth. You can also wear it low, under the bump, with maternity jeans.
Can I swap the buckle onto another strap?
Yes. The buckle comes off the strap, so one buckle can move between straps in seconds. In a 3-belt set you can mix gold and silver.
